Basic Rules and Procedures
Players are to report 5 minutes before each given match time.
If players do not report by the designated time, he/she will be disqualified. It is the responsibility of the player to notify or request for leave of absence and to ensure that he/she remains contactable during the tournament proceedings.
Each match will be played based on the following configuration:
Mode: Singles (1v1) or Doubles (2v2), based on category
Per half: 5 mins
Stadium: Bay Arena
Weather: Sunny
Host and client will be announced before the match and decided by a coin toss.
Players will be given a set team which they must use for the tournament
Players are allowed to use in-game items as stated by the organizer, prior to the tournament proceedings.
In the case of a tie in 90 minutes of the match, the game will proceed on to Extra-Time, subsequently which if scores are still tied, the game will proceed with a penalty shootout. The winner of a match will be decided by the shootout.
Players and Strategy changes are limited to 3 per game. (Changes made before the start of 1st and 2nd half are not included in this count.)
Player who deliberately scores 2 own goals in a match will be given a warning. A subsequent own-goal (3rd) in the same match will result in immediate disqualification.
The winner of a match will proceed to the next round.
Players who fail to win in the semi-finals will play a 3rd-place match to decide the 3rd place winner of the tournament.
All complaints shall be dealt with after the match has been completed. The organizer reserves all rights in decisions related to conflicts, concerns or any issue of interest.

Games Settings
The official, licensed game EA SPORTS™ FIFA Online 2 is the current game platform used in One Asia Cup 2009. The latest version will be provided. (No arbitrary changes allowed)
Teams and player abilities cannot be modified arbitrarily.
Players on both sides must fix options before they start the game and cannot be altered once the match has begun.
Disconnections
Should a disconnection occur:
A marshal will confirm the exact score to that point, and restart the match.
A marshal will inform the players of the time remaining in the match.
Any players sent off the field (red card) shall count as a goal each for the opponent when the match resumes.
Intentional disconnection: Upon judgment by the Marshall, any offending player will be charged with a loss and possible disqualification from the tournament.
Gameplay
The player must kick-off with backward pass at the beginning of each half and after every goal is scored.
During a corner kick, players are not allowed to shoot the ball directly from the spot straight into goal. Players are also not allowed to cross the ball into the 6 yard goalkeeper box. Players are only allowed to cross the ball into the 6 yard box if a short corner is done. Any goals resulting from the above mentioned scenario shall be disallowed.
Players are not allowed to score a goal from a computer taken free kick.
Time-play is forbidden.
It is forbidden to make a throw in directly into the opponent's penalty area. Should a player throw the ball directly into the opponent's penalty area he/she will be warned. Should he/she persist, the player will be disqualified from the tournament. Any goals resulting from a throw in into the opponent's penalty area will be disallowed.
It is strictly forbidden to switch strikers to disrupt opponents man-marking. Both players should be able to arrange man-marking before the match starts. Man-marking must be allowed during the game without switching strikers. If a player changes his tactics, formation or lineup he has to kick the ball out of bounds so his opponent is able to react. After both players have done their settings the ball returns to the first player.
Penalties for Unfair Play
Unfair play is defined by the following:
Use of any cheat program.
Intentional disconnection.
Use of any settings exceeding standard and permitted settings.
Excessive chatting during the match.
Any manipulation, maneuver or tactic designed to disrupt the intended mechanics of competition present in the client.
If the referee decides that a player is deemed to be presented with an unfair advantage, due to intentional external conditions such as spectator assistance, the player may be given a warning or loss by default at the referee' sole discretion.
Upon discovery of any player committing a violation regarded as unfair play, that player may be disqualified from the tournament.
During the course of any match, the operations staff and/or Marshall may determine other actions to embody unfair play at any time.
These rules are for the One Asia Cup and are subjected to modification under the any conditions that the organizer deemed fit.
